It’s Time for Something New

Welcome to our site. Ignite People Now marks my next venture and adventure in the world of human resources. 

In many ways, I’ve had a charmed life, and it would appear so professionally. Yes, I’ve worked for some of the world’s most admired brands. Apple. Microsoft. UnderArmour. Shutterfly. I’ve also worked for the software company, Blackbaud, behind many of the world’s great nonprofits.

The best part about my experience within each of these fabled organizations is that I wasn’t there after they’d arrived at iconic status. Rather, I signed up when each was on their way up, scaling beyond the startup phase meeting the monumental challenges of scaling into the middle market and beyond.

As you grow and scale an organization, you see different things, and you learn how to see differently.  I had the honor of working alongside amazing leaders who had a vision and knew how to equip and empower people to make it happen. I saw organizations led by people who are now icons in global business, leaders who were able to hold on to culture as they grew. Their secret? To a person, they knew that great technologies only come from innovative people who perform best when they value themselves and others around them.

Those leaders invested in themselves and their teams. From executive coaching to leadership development programs, they brought resources to bear that helped their people become stronger, together.

Today, through Ignite People Now, I’m bringing these lessons and a whole lot more to small and mid-sized organizations looking to grow. It only takes a spark to get a fire going. As the matches in our logo convey, it just takes one person to lead and spread culture to others. Then, it’s game on.
